The tragic death of Charlie Kirk has left the world in shock. But I guess death leaves us all a little baffled. Truth be told, we shouldn't be so surprised that a man like Kirk was killed in action. We are all bound to suffer a little, who believe in the Christ of Nazareth, in these times. This is perhaps the last revival before we go home, and that's my opinon on the matter. Kirk is just one of many soldiers who will be taken home before they grow a white beard. But, hey... So was Yeshua. Don't worry, his beautiful white beard did come on, later on in life--I mean, it was bound to happen, he is over 2,000 years old, in human years. Charlie Kirk will have one, too, one day, just like other martyrs who have gone before him and died young. So, don't mourn him too deeply that you forget to reason about the realities of martyrdom: firstly, as the Bible says, the death of his martyrs is precious to the Lord. Secondly, that he died a saint, meaning that the devil doesn't have so many chances to tempt him any more (I'm talking in terms of spiritual warfare). Thirdly, he's just gone and missed the Great Tribulation. That alone is a blessing most of us in this age won't have, or our children. So, don't be so sorry for Charlie. He's doing fine. Worry that his message won't die--worry that it becomes stronger as we become many more Charlie Kirks fighting against Satan's lies. The death of a martyr is only a sign that we're doing something right. It means his/her job is done. It means his business in Heaven is being completed. He's just earned a crown and the super ability to fly, man. Come on. This is not a bad thing at all! It's just difficult for us on earth, because it's sad to lose a loved one. But Charlie is one of many who have died for the Kingdom, and he knew the consequences of following Yeshua. His death was only part of his calling. So it is for all of us who believe in him as the Messiah.
